Students at the Grootfontein College of Agriculture, Middelburg E.C. celebrated the achievements of the College in 2009 by handing a framed photograph to Mr. Strydom Schoonraad (Principal of the College) at the annual diploma dance. From the left are Japie van Wyk, Mr. Schoonraad and James Scheun. The photograph is of the Angora ram that was crowned Supreme Champion at the recent International Mohair Summit in Graaff-Reinet. The inscription reads “With gratitude and appreciation to Mr. Strydom Schoonraad for the outstanding service to Grootfontein College of Agriculture”.

 

 

 

Studente van die Landboukollege Grootfontein, Middelburg EC het die prestasies van die Kollege in 2009 gevier deur ‘n geraamde foto aan Mnr. Strydom Schoonraad (Prinsipaal van die Kollege) by die diplomadans te oorhandig.  Van links is Japie van Wyk, Mnr. Schoonraad en James Scheun. Die foto is van die Angoraram wat as die grootkampioen op die onlangse Sybokhaarberaad op Graaff-Reinet aangewys is. Die opskrif lui “ Met dank en erkenning aan Mnr Strydom Schoonraad vir uitstaande diens aan Landboukollege Grootfontein”.
